Work & Play

You’ve got to work as hard as you play or even harder because it won’t be all fun and games when the roles switch up. Not saying there is anything wrong with partying, but there always has to be a balance, too much of one thing isn’t necessarily a good thing. It is disturbing to see people who have the ability to do something with their lives, and turn out into great individuals throw it all away because of laziness, dependency and the worst of all waiting to reside in another country to make it. Why cannot we start from where we are instead of waiting to get to another man’s land? Why do we have to place ourselves in a box and refuse to see the ever so bright light when it’s right there in our face? All work and no play makes jack a dull boy, but what happens when play is all that jack knows, what will become of him then? Do we ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe we need to pull our weight and go out into the world just as our peers do and make a name for ourselves. This habit of depending on others to give us a meaningful and fulfilling life needs to end! You cannot as a fully grown adult wait on someone else to give you lift when you are more than capable of lifting yourself and take the first step. Whining, crying, feeling battered and being stuck has never made anyone successful. Instead of looking at what has gone wrong, use those emotions to build you up, go out there into the world and make a name for yourself, because when the sunsets, it will always and forever be every man for himself. No matter how much your family pushes you, they will not drag your hand to get the job done, no matter how much you’re encouraged by your friends, they will not hold your hand to get the job done for you. No one wants to deal with a burden that refuses to go away. Each and every single person out here, no matter how much they love and cherish you is trying to make a better man or woman of themselves, each and every single one of those people are trying to cease the opportunity that they’ve gotten in order to make it and be a household name. Never be too comfortable with where you’re at, always push harder and strive for a better future. Opportunity comes once in a life time, twice if you’re really lucky. Prioritising your life into just having fun and partying has never made a successful man. A word for the wise is sufficient. Make hay whilst the sun rises!
